Ceramic Art Treasure: Mel Robson

Mel Robson is an Australian based ceramic artist who makes functional and non-functional objects out of porcelain. She finds value in road maps, recipes, sewing patterns and handwriting. I was looking for inspiration for my next piece and I love handwritten objects, which Mel right away caught my eye. I find her work to be very simple, yet, elegant, and conceptually based.

Mel's work is Porcelain Art Treasures!

Ceramic Art Treasure: Wall Hanging

This beautiful shell-like wall hanging ceramics are by Dominique Bivar Segurado. Segurado receives his inspiration from nature, and designs his ceramics from nature's natural forms. I enjoy this wall hanging piece because it is minimal yet elegant. It is very interesting to how Segurado is taking ceramic away from the tabletop and displaying it on the wall.

Ceramic Art Treasure: Yarn Bowl

I found this creative and adorable yarn bowl on Etsy. I have never seen anything to hold your yarn when you are knitting. This bowl will keep the ball from rolling away from you, and easily helps the yarn to come out, so it won't get tangled.

This yarn bowl is a ceramic art treasure!

Below is the link if anyone wants to buy this treasure!
